Giorgos Kotsikas started his studies in the violin at the age of 6 at the Attico Conservatory, receiving his diploma with the grade “excellent unanimously”. He has a master’s degree specializing in folk violin, from the Department of Music Studies of EKPA, with “excellence”. He has taken part in many concerts and music-dance performances in Greece and abroad (England, Germany, Bulgaria, Egypt, Cyprus, etc.) collaborating with renowned artists such as Petroloukas Chalkias, Antonis Kyritsis, Nikos Filippidis, Panagiotis Lalezas, Vangelis Dimoudis, Alexandros Arkadopoulos, Giorgos Kotsinis et al. He has participated in public and private TV shows. In the summer of 2021 he participated in the Athens Epidaurus Festival with the Yiannis Papadopoulos Jazz Trio in the 4th Stream Music performance. Since 2017 he has been teaching violin at the Greek Music Center “Foivos Anogianakis”.
